Morgan Fairchild, born Patsy An McClenny in 1950 on the 3rd of February is an American actress. The 1980s were when she was a household name for her appearances on various TV series. Her fame was for portraying a glamorous persona. Fairchild's career began in 1973, playing Jennifer Pace on the CBS soap opera Search for Tomorrow. In 1978 she appeared in the soap opera of the same name Dallas as the first actress in history to play Jenna Wade before taking a leading role on the NBC series Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama). She appeared on ABC's brief primetime soap Paper Dolls as well as on the NBC soap opera Falcon Crest in 1985-86 as Jordan Roberts. Fairchild was also active in theater as well as in guest roles for television series like Roseanne Cybill, Friends and Murphy Brown. For the former, she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award.
