Sebera was enrolled at Kent State University, where she received the degree of fashion design, merchandise, and marketing in 2011. Additionally, she has a minor in administration of business. Sebera was involved in several diverse sports, such as diving before she decided to go back to gymnastics. After 18 years of gymnastics Sebera had severe injuries to her ankles that forced her to quit. Sebera then began training as a fitness and bodybuilder competitor. In 2012, she was awarded an official card and began competing with the International Federation of BodyBuilding & Fitness. She trained for three years and performing in events in WWE NXT before making her debut on the main roster on Monday Night RAW in 2016. Aside from professional wrestling, Sebera kept a strong presence in bodybuilding. She returned for the 2017 Arnold's Classic, competing in the international fitness category.
