Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the daughter of Peter Silk, an academic, and Ilkay Silk, a multi-talented actress as well as a producer, director and educator, playwright and Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of a Briton as well as a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. Anna appeared in numerous commercials in her youth. Anna relocated to Toronto in November 1999 in order to continue her acting career. She eventually settled down to Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she had met in a Los Angeles actors' workshop back in 2007, became her partner in 2009. Anna was changed her religion to Judaism and they got married in Fredericton. Bo's relationship with Lauren (played by Zoie Palmer) was featured in the list of CNN's all-time favorite Television Couples and was named the top Television Couple in 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Anna's popularity on social media increased following the popularity of her television show.
